I recently shipped an old Model 24 Savage Over and Under that belonged to my Dad. It was it pitiful shape and would not even break open. What I got back was amazing! In working order with a new finish. I was very impressed. To top it off, the cost was VERY reasonable. Definitely will use them again.

I sent in my gun to get Cerakoted, and they estimated a month because they had to special order the cerakote I wanted. I had my gun back within two weeks tops. The cerakote is clean, beautiful, and EXACTLY what I wanted. Thomas was super helpful and contacted me to make sure I got what I wanted. Great experience, would recommend going here first! 💯

The turnaround time was quick and the quality of the job was great! The communication process was great and he did a wonderful job taking the idea I had and translating it to finished product. Roy was also a great help and instrumental in getting me through the process. I would highly recommend them for all of your Cerakote needs!

Couldn't be happier with the service and attention to detail from the gunsmiths at the Kenosha shop. We had a Graco adjustable butt plate installed on my son's Blaser F3. The attention to fitting it to the contour of the stock is fantastic. This will give him the adjustability and LOP he needs. Thank you!

THE STORY OF OUR PEOPLE

jack

After completing his studies at the Colorado School of Trades, Jack began work in Northern Wisconsin as a gunsmith. In 1986 he moved to Wilmot, WI and began working for one of the nation's leading gunsmiths where he was a fixture for over 30 years. Today, Jack leads the team of gunsmiths at America's Gunsmith Shop in Kenosha, WI.

Roy Christensen

ROY CHRISTENSEN

Roy attributes his Midwest values and work ethic to being raised as a Wisconsin farm kid. Growing up on a farm meant hard work, but with hard work came rewards. More rewards than a young man could realize at the time. After high school he took a job working in the maintenance department at Gander Mtn. That grew into an apprenticeship in the Gunsmith Department. Now, some thirty plus years later he owns his own retail gun store and full-service Gunsmith Shop.

Roy enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and friends. The Wisconsin whitetail season, ice fishing, kayaking, soft water fishing and turkey hunting are just a few of the annual highlights. A lawn chair and a warm fire are among the favorites. As a business owner, he draws on his life experiences to deliver the best possible service to our customers.

“Our mission is simple: We’re here to help people,” Christensen said. “If us helping people means they are able to better enjoy the outdoors or are able to better protect their families, than we’ve done our job.”
